August 09 apprenticeship

This was another practice piece done durring a 3 day refresher with my art teacher. I took pictures of the progress from beginning to end.

I'll be doing easy / practice pieces for a while to get the wheels rolling again, so these will be more on the impressionistic side.



First you lay in the shadows / cold colors.



Next bring in the warm colors.

Last stage, laying down the detail.
